Twilight Verdict: Amazing!!

Ok so I loved Twilight! I know people are complaining at how cheesy and corny it was but that is just how the book was! It met all my expectations and then some. It was just fun to see my favorite book come to life, and Rob Pattinson was even more dreamy than I thought he could be. I literally squealed when I first saw him on screen. ahh... it's so nice to feel like a teenage girl again.

Abbey (Jake's sister) and I got to the theater at 7pm to wait in line. We were able the save 12 seats for all our friends and family that attended. There were a few disgruntled people but for the most part we didn't have to fight too much for our seats. The party before the movie was really fun! It was so much better than just going to a movie. Every few minutes there would be bouts of screams of excitement in different areas of the theater as girls were realizing the movie they had been waiting for for so long was about to start. You could literally feel the estrogen in the room! It was to say the least an amazing night.

Abbey and I waiting in line for our amazing seats

As soon as we got in the theater I yelled for Abbey to Run and we headed straight for the back row. We made it in time with only a few seconds to spare before people wanted our seats!

here is a picture of the raffle drawing. There were some super cool gifts! Abbey won Botox, haha. She better give that to someone who really needs it. I really doubt her young 17 yr old face needs Botox.me with my good friends Christine and Brandi

The Fellows coven! Me Tamara, Erin, Allyx, Angela, and Abbey

My mom and her friend Paula, and my sister in-law Jayme and her sister Jana came as well. The night was so crazy I forgot to get everyones picture. I just wanted to thank everyone who came. You all made it so fun! I hope we can do it all over again for "New Moon"!

Twilight is almost here!

Twilight comes out in less than 4 days! I am so excited! For all of you that don't know, my business (Namaste Med Spa) is involved with Visions Salon (along with many other local businesses) at premiere night. Visions rented out two theaters at Jordan Commons and for an hour before the movie there will be an amazing party with gift bags, games, and a raffle with amazing gifts! It is going to be so much fun! I can't wait.
I am in love with Rob Pattinson (Edward) so here are some of my favorite photos of him. ENJOY!

History in the Making

I don't want to be controversial at all. I don't want to be choosing any side, Republican or Democrat, when I say this; I am just so happy that our country has come so far as to elect a black President. This has nothing to do with how I have voted myself. I actually had a very hard time when it came down to deciding because I felt there were things that worried me about both candidates. I would have been a little nervous whoever won the election. But politics aside, I am so proud to be an American right now. Think of how far we have come in the past couple hundred years. I really do believe that America's forefathers were lead by God to build this country, so that all may live and worship as they want. And all citizens, black, white, or any other race, have the same equal rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit happiness.

God bless America!

Happy Halloween!

Jake and I had a blast on Halloween. I decorated the backyard with gravestones, a stobe light, spider webs, skeletons, and scary music. It was so fun to see all the scared and excited treak or treaters. We had so much fun that we stayed home all night. Sorry for those of you that we didn't see on Halloween. We were having too much fun!

Jake was the Phantom of the Opera!

Here I am singing as Christine in the Phantom of the Opera. I am obssesed with the Phantom of the Opera and I was so excited to dress up this year as Christine! but I couldn't find this costume anywhere so I had to make it!

Halloween Party

On Thursday October 30th Jake and I had a party for our family in our cozy basement. We had a costume contest, carved pumpkins, decorated Halloween cookies, and ate lots of food (Including Jake's, now famous, homemade ice cream!)

Jake and I as Bacon and Eggs!

Jake's brother Daniel as a Ski Bum and a complete freak. (sorry Daniel, it's your fault for doing this pose)

Nick was a Sumo Wrestler. I went with him to find this costume. I think it was the best costume ever. He played the part perfect!

Jayme and her boys were all characters from the kid's show "The Backyardigains"
Bennett was Austin, Jayme was Tasha, and her baby Carter was Tyrone.

Carter loved decorating cookies! He would just eat the frosting and smear it all over his face! It was hilarious!!

Carter and Grandma Christy, the gym teacher, before the frosting fiasco

Angela's costume was an off-duty nurse . Good try Angie but I do love the cookie!

Abbey was a Gothic Fairy but she forgot her wings so she just looked Goth, but I couldn't make fun of her cause it was, of course, my costume that she borrowed.

Dianne was dressed as a beautiful Egyptian Queen. (very scandalous) and that is one good look'n cookie.

This is Daniel, whenever we have a family party, two hours into it. He was out!

THE PUMPKINS

this scary tree was Nick's

I wish this had come out better on my camera, but this is Dianne's pumpkin with four spooky ghosts

Here is mine. Can you tell who it is? It is Jack Skelington from Nightmare Before Christmas.

This was Jake's. I think it was Lord Voldemort!

And this other scary tree was Angie's!

We had such a fun time and we think this party is a great tradition. Hopefully we can top it next year!
