Pirate Island

Ahoy Maties!!! This past Monday I went to Pirate Island in Provo to celebrate Abbey's belated birthday with the family. I had such a fun time! It was totally like the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland! The whole place was decorated in a pirate theme, all the employees were dressed up, there was fun music playing, and to top it all off it was Bingo night! :) I felt like a kid again.

The birthday girl and me. Can you tell I am excited? The pirate ship behind us has cannons, and every 20 minutes or so they would go off! It was awesome!

Abbey, our waiter, and me

This section of the restaurant reminded me of the Blue Bayou restaurant at Disneyland

There is treasure by the restrooms!

Great Salad Bar!

"Cave of Death" leading to the "Arrrrcade"
"Release the Cannons!"

What a great time! If you every need to get away and wish you could go to Disneyland, Pirate Island is the next best thing.

P.S. there is a pirate play ship with slides for the little ones :)

4 Years! Can You Believe It?

Jake and I have been married 4 years today. I can't believe it has been that long! I guess that is a good sign, I must love him. Jake is an amazing husband and I couldn't have asked for anyone better then him. He truly is my soul mate.

Thank you for everything Jake. I'm so happy that I get to spend eternity with you. I love you!

Lacey and Dan

On Saturday, April 10th, Jake's brother Dan and his fiance Lacey were married in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful day and Lacey was a gorgeous bride. I had such a fun time and I loved helping out on their special day. It was great to have Lacey's family there visiting from Georgia. They are so nice and I love that we could spend time with them. We are so happy for Dan and Lacey and I'm excited to have Lacey be a part of the family.
It was also really nice for Jake and I to be able to see a marriage in the Temple this time of year. Our 4 year wedding anniversary is tomorrow, April 13th, and the ceremony brought back some wonderful memories of that special day. I love you Jake!

It's official!

Here is the front entrance at the reception, held at Dianne's house. The cameras were for the guest to take pictures of each other. It was a very cute idea.

The weather was perfect and the tent worked great! Thanks Brian!

Abbey and I having a blast with the Wedding Cameras :)

the Williams girls

A Jaguar came to take them away, they are now in Mexico on their Honeymoon. I am so jealous! It was a beautiful day. Congratulations!!

Abbey's sweet 19

I can't believe that Jake's little sister Abbey is officially 19. When I first met her she was a cute little 14 yr old. Now she is a beautiful, smart, mature, young woman going to BYU to get her nursing degree. We were lucky enough to have her come home from her busy school schedule for her birthday.

Abbey and cute little Kaitlyn

Make a wish! I love this picture: Cameron and Kaitlyn helping Abbey blow out the candles while Dianne strikes this awesome pose!

Abbey shares my obsession with all things Twilight so we had to get her the New Moon DVD.

Dianne got her some super cute shirts, Kaitlyn was so nice to help show them off :)

More Twilight! Best sleep shirt ever, I think Kaitlyn agrees!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Most of you know by now that Jake's brother Dan is getting married this Saturday to a beautiful girl from Gerogia. Her name is Lacey and this past Friday Jake's sisters, mom, and I threw her a Bachelorette Party. It was really fun! We had Cafe Rio salads for dinner and then went to La Caille for dessert. We then watched 'Bride Wars' while I waxed, tinted, and beautified.

On our way to La Caille for some fabulous dessert

Dianne and her girls chillin', waiting for our table

Two hotties :)

Best banana's foster ever! We also had chocolate cake, creme brulee, and beignets. Yummy!!

Just a little something for the wedding night ;)

The next night, on Saturday. The rest of the Fellows family had a shower for Lacey and she also got this smokin' hot lingerie.

Dan is going to be a lucky man! :)

I Did It!

Over the weekend I completed the 2010 Canyonlands Half Marathon in Moab Utah. I finished with an average of just above a 9 min mile. I had such I good time and met some friends a long the way. It was also a fun girls trip for my mom and I. I hope I can do it again someday.
Getting ready to start. It's tradition for me to take this picture before a race, but don't worry I really didn't think I would be number one, But I did place with in the first couple thousand out of about 5,000 racers.

Jake's cousin Marie, her friend Meghan, and me. I'm so glad I found these girls at the beginning of the race. It was nice to start it out with some friends
The run was beautiful! I kept telling random people how pretty it was and I would pull out my camera to take pictures (and yes I was running while taking these, I don't think I ever stopped to walk in fear that I wouldn't start up again)

8 miles gone and I feel great!

Near the end of the canyon

A very nice man saw me taking pictures so he offered to take a picture of me so I could document that I was actually there. I love how nice everyone was.

I Did it!!! 13.1 miles! Near the end I thought I was going to pass out but I made it and I felt great! Just kidding I really felt horrible, physically, but emotional I was great!

To treat myself I got a pedicure and new sandals afterwards, sooo worth it!!!

Can't forget that my mom was with me, cheering me on at the finish line. She is such a trooper. She just had surgery but she insisted on coming down with me. I had such a good time with her. Thanks for coming mom, Love you!

Moab Half Marathon, I'm stoked!!

I'm off to go run the half marathon in Moab! I'm so excited but a little nervous. I've never ran this long before, so I'm a little worried I won't be able to keep a 10 min mile. Wish me luck! I'll let you all know how it goes and I will take plenty of pictures! My mom is so nice to go down to moab with me. She'll hang out while I run and then we are going to have pedicures after the race and walk around arches national park.
