Breaking Dawn Party

On the Eve of the Breaking Dawn release, I along with Jake's sisters, our cousins and some friends went to a Breaking Dawn party at the Barnes and Noble at South Towne. It was such a blast. I can't believe how many Twilight fans there are! I had such a fun time with my new family and I am so happy they have excepted me into their "Coven". I think they might like me better than Jake now.

Once the Party was over Abbey, Angie and I went to Angie's home to read. We stayed up till 3 am narrating for each other. 3 hours later we were on our way to Bear Lake for a family reunion. We did wake board while we were there but all I remember is either listening to the book on tape or reading.

This is how Abbey and I were dressed during the whole family reunion. We hid in the corner, incognito, and read the entire time!

Now that I finished the book I don't know what to do with myself! I guess I have to act like an adult now. : (

"Breaking Dawn" Break Down!

I will be going on a little break from blogging while I am reading Breaking Dawn. I can't even believe I stopped reading to write this message!! When I return from civilization I will have pictures from the amazing Breaking Dawn party and the week that followed. Love you all! Happy reading!!

Happy Belated 24th of July!

I hope everyone had a fun 24th of July! Jake and I had a grand old time! We went out for pizza and saw fireworks at Liberty Park with some friends.

Jake and I waiting pateintly for the fireworks to start. Oh and just to warn everyone if you ever go to Liberty Park for the 24th of July be prepared for gangs, cursing, and a lot of crazy drunk people. Might not be the best atmosphere for children.

I dressed up as a cowgirl for the fireworks and took these silly pictures. I hope you enjoy them!

The weekend after the 24th mom and I went to Park City for fun at the outlets and Park City's main street. We ate at our favorite mexican retautant right on main street. The weather was perfect and the food was fabulous!

Most of you know my Grandma's name is Zona. So not only does this restaurant have good food, we love the name!

We ate outside on the balcony and had a fun time people watching and enjoying the 80 degree weather.

Wakeboarding at Bear Lake

This past weekend Jake and I along with his brother Dan, sisters Abbey and Angie, his dad Jeff, and my cousin Allison, went to Bear Lake to stay at Jake's grandparent's cabin and wake board! We had a really fun time. I was so sore afterwards and today is the first day I don't actually ache. ugh! But it was still a blast, I would love to do it every weekend if I could.

Jake was too tall for the wake board but he was still able to get out of the wake. He also was the fastest. When he would fall I was worried I was going to be a widow!

It took a while but I was able to go out side of both wakes and I tried to do some jumps but of course I fell down. Oops. I definitely need more practice.

Millcreek Pines Survivor Young Women's Camp with BEARS!!!

On Monday July 14th my mom and I went to Millcreek Pines Stake Young Women's Camp . My mother is currently the Stake Camp Director for her stake and I tagged along as her assistant. We had heard that there could be bears around but nothing prepared us for what happened this week. Our first bear sighting was on Tuesday when it got into some trash at our camp and then it proceeded to take trash from other campsites around the same area. After we got rid of all our food, things were peaceful for about a day. We then had another bear sighting on Wednesday so hunters and hounds were called out to track the Bear. Last night was the peak of our adventure! While all of the girls were having fun performing skits, a hound entered the camp and walk right to us, which meant a bear was near by. We ran to our tents to wait it out. Once the cost was clear (or we thought) We proceeded to finish our skits when a Bear came into the camp, but this time it would not go away. We screamed, yelled, even threw things (that is what you do to get rid of bears) but he still was sniffing around for food. At that same time a different bear enter the opposite side of the camp. Once that happened we weren't taking any chances. We told everyone to grab there belongs and go home! This morning we came back to get our tents and this is what we found!! I'm so glad I didn't stay there last night!

This is a Bear paw print on the tent right next to mine. There are actually three of them on the tent. It looked like he actually tried to climb it.
We had hung this table cloth as a screen for a slide show we had prepared for the girls. I don't think the Bear likes that idea cause he took a bite out of it!

My mom was talking with the deputy and the bear whisperer (i don't know the name of his real title) after the second bear sighting.

When we rushed home last night some of the wards did not have room in there cars for all their girls so they had to take coolers out of their cars and leave them at camp. When we came back this morning we saw that the Bears had made a huge mess!!

This is the greatest workout on the planet! I try to go once a week at the Sports Mall it is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm, but you can look up a class anywhere in the country on the website.
